Somehow, the days have passed so quickly that they go by without stopping for me to think and to reminisce. I shan’t hold it back: 30 March to 3 April I was in Hong Kong, for some obvious reasons, so you don’t need to ask.

No words can describe the mixed feelings within me during this exciting-cum-tearful trip. Although I captured in total about 400 over photos, but can pictures speak a thousand words? Or even 400,000 words? Well, I just realised they can’t justify the whole lot of things I want to share because in the end they are only pictures.

I’m happy to say that finally I’ve been to Hong Kong, especially to the countless places where we could trace the path of him, like those sites where they filmed the movies, 80s serials, movie screenings at various cinemas, tv stations, where they held the memorial events and … of course, the Mandarin Oriental where we visited the 24th story and his house over at Kadoorie 32A. The weather was great, at least much better than in Singapore. Managed to take different types of transport all over HK and its island which was really a great experience. You never know until you get there, really.

1 April was a fateful day which turned my whole world upside down and inside out. A little more than two years it has been, but still things doesn’t seem to be able to revert back to normal, just as before. Because

Even now
I wake up crying
in the middle of the night
and I can’t believe it still could hurt so bad
Even now
When I have come so far
I wonder where you are
I wonder why it’s still so hard without you
Even now…
