Every time it comes to the holidays, appletastic would disallow me to access and blog. I think that my domain’s cursed! Okay, be it my domain, my IP address, my internet connection… The only reason I’m able to blog now is because I’m using an anonymous proxy server. So it must be IP address then, blocked for some obscure reason. Still, there are things I can’t do, like accessing my ftp and uploading photos.
It’s friday :S for the past week, I’d spent it on cleaning out my room. Literally throwing away 10,20 bags of unwanted things away. Can’t wait to redesign my room with the new furniture! Weeeee! Since Monday’s tt training, my body’s been aching quite badly. Of all the girls, only Carmen, Cass and I went. I trained a bit with Carmen first, then Raymond, after which we sat down and he gossipped to me about Daniel hahahar. Too bad too bad.
Last Sunday, Jac Naomi and myself made our way to Waseda Shibuya Senior High School for the festival. Although it’s located at some obscure place near Jurong East station, it was almost like we travelled to Japan itself! SQUEEEEEEEEE!! I love love love the atmosphere, where everyone spoke in Japanese and some students were even dressed in kimono and yukata. I regret not visiting earlier because there were only about 2 hours left till the closure by the time we cabbed there. The entire fest was reminiscent of the one in Nobuta wo Produce! A class even set up a haunted house, and I sooo expected Akira dressed as a vampire in there ;) Bright corridors packed with students (I think it was easy to tell who were Japanese, and who were local) and parents and kids, representatives walking around promoting their class, MCs talking into their mic whose words became so muffled I couldn’t make out anything at all. Japanese school… I love!
We queued first for Shinobi where they ‘trained’ Ninjas haha. CUTE GUYS. That class had a lot of cute guys hahaha that I want to bring home. (ROFL) Then we saw really cute little kids as well; several kids walked past and I nearly couldn’t tell that they were boys if not for one of their names, Eita, imprinted at the back of his soccer jersey. OMG cuteness! More cuteness from some bishies I spotted around the school hahaha.
And then there was another attraction to die for… Hana Yori 2B! We caught the last show at 3.45pm which lasted for half an hour. A parody of my favourite jdrama Hana Yori Dango. Yatta! While the performance went on, I took some video clips and photos and compiled them into a video =) Enjoy the video along with the captions hehe! Music from the HYD soundtrack. Watch watch!!!

Sugoi!!! I was so tickled by their performance. By the way, if you didn’t notice, the ‘female’ lead is actually a guy, lol. As I observed the corridors, one of the classes had the words ???(Health Room) written in a HUGE font covering the entire wall of their class. This reminded me of UMEDA from Hana Kimi haha. I wonder what was inside! We didn’t get to see the haunted house in the end, which is why I made up my mind to VISIT AGAIN NEXT YEAR! Kyaaaaaa ~ Even after we left, I was still giddy from the excitement. =/ and it makes me wonder why am I studying in a poly here. Hahaha.
I finished Hana Kimi manga yesterday night. Love the ending =) very much. I looked up the internet and found an image of Lee Jun Ki that I wanted to try sketching, was doing it halfway when it suddenly occured to me that he might fit into the role of Umeda Hokuto! O M G! Just the other time Adeline and I were discussing how it was almost impossible to find someone resembling Umeda during the time when the Hana Kimi jdrama just started showing. Oh, now it has ended with a 2-hour finale special! I’ll watch it on Veoh soon!
A few days back, I also caught Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo suru on Veoh which stars Matsumoto Jun and Eikura Nana. What a beautiful movie! I love the very slow pace and many moments of silence that enables tension to be built up in the audience. Though this is a story in which a pair of siblings fall in love with each other, to me it felt more like forbidden love (same sentiments, Ade ;) between two good looking people hahaha. The incest is subtly implied, the soundtrack is great, but the only thing that bothered me was the audio recorded at the set. It sucks! I could hear a lot of noise other than what we were suppose to be hearing, and I don’t know if it’s because of the uploader. But it really really seems screwed up. Okay, it’s the only thing anyway. Matsujun’s performance left me speechless… especially in the last scene with Eikura Nana. Much <3. There isn't much action going on throughout the film or that sort of scenes just in case you’re expecting it. I can only conclude that the story takes place within quite a short period of time and few settings. It’s all about their relationship and the difficult choices they have to face and decisions to make.
One last update. The Threadless parcel arrived yesterday in the form of a big box! Weeee! I’ll be happy for the rest of the week.. haha oh yeah it’s already the weekends.
