Yesterday night I revisited my notes and textbook for Japanese Intermediate 1 class, struggling with mugging till the wee hours of the morning to complete studying 8 weeks worth of lessons for the placement test in the late afternoon. Having stopped lessons for almost a full year, since I had to unfortunately miss the final test for Int1 because of overseas internship last year, I was having difficulties recalling and putting to use like half of the grammar structures they had taught. In order to sign up for Intermediate 2 (unless you are continuing right away) applicants have to sit for a placement test, which was what I mugged for today. The test was quite like the usual final tests after each course, and I managed it (92/100) after all! Hurrays! Goodness knows when will I EVER make progress in my Japanese studies had I not insisted (and stopped being lazy) in signing up for class…

Recently Adeline and I met up for a couple of times, mostly to have lunch together *and totally spazzzz over JAP KARE RAISU (curry rice haha)*, browse through books at Kino or watch stuff at my house. And we would try conversing in Japanese for fun, which leads to the most interesting topics haha. Tanoshikatta ne!

Oh yes, I wonder who my sensei will be? But I’m okay not knowing about it too haha, until the day we start lessons. :D
