I am so hung up over the tone of voice Nino used for his improvised character in this Shiyagare segment! And that he’s also borrowed Ohno’s Kaibutsu-themed shirt to wear underneath the denim <3

Thanks to Sakuratikah who showed me this hilarious episode when we met! You don’t need to know how frequently I put this on repeat lol.
Kaibutsu-kun the drama is filled to the brim with goodies that can mostly be attributed, because we are all biased, to Ohchan’s comical portrayal as a spoilt and ignorant prince of monsters as well as his priceless interactions with the other cast. When you put cute and cute together – that is Kaibutsu and Hiroshi – the effects are overwhelming! Just when I thought this genre wouldn’t generate my interest despite the fact that Ohno was the lead, it reined me in episode after hearty episode, leading me to conclude that it’s perfect for kids and Ohno fans alike. I’d liken Kaibutsu-kun to desserts; there will always be space for this, all seriousness aside :D
Although this is considered old in fandom, I think there’s no such thing as being too late for any form of fanart (well, unless it’s for the birthdays and anniversaries and stuff lol – speaking of which, it’s OHNOVEMBER!). And so it had been equally delightful drawing this. Ohchan’s silly singing voice is permanently stuck in my head: 念力集中クルクルガビ~~ン~#$^@!

Did anyone else think of Nino while watching Jesse Eisenberg (as Mark Zuckerberg) in The Social Network? Lol I couldn’t comparing the similarities, especially those lips!! *stares* 同じ匂いがするね。That was one engaging movie by the way, I never knew such a saga exists behind Facebook.
And on the same day Curry treated all of us to Skinny Pizza, a waiter had Nino written on his nametag; G had pointed that out.. Awww.
Rewatching Ryuusei no Kizuna – brings back the fondest memories whenever the music to Beautiful Days plays, and catching up on NatsuNiji <3 GAWD I MISS FANDOM SO MUCH :’(
I found some time to practice on observational sketching, which I used to do a lot in the past when I first got into pen lineart. (These days I simply doodle mindless crap in my notebook too much..) Here are two of Ohno’s:
01. 「天然ですよ、こいつ！」He’s such a natural, Satoshi.
02. In the spotlight. The photo of Ohno mid-jump is so amazing, yet my sketch doesn’t do justice to the elegance portrayed at all.

Fanart of my baby, Ohno Satoshi, based on the appearance of an original character for a flash animation (Black Illusion, on Schizophrenia) I created in 2008. Why so? Cause my mum would laugh and comment every time she watches it on how she thinks the character gives off Ohno vibes. On top of that I kind of wanted to draw Ohchan in a studio with random props everywhere, in a slightly different style, and if you were wondering, the chairs actually came from the classroom scenes. As for the fish, they appeared on their own accord :O
